These are one of the most popular things that we make for the counter, now available to order for the first time. Another twice baked creation, we start with a day old traditional hand made butter croissant, made over a three day process using cultured butter from Edinburgh Butter Co. The croissants are split, dipped in a savoury chicken stock, and filled with our own béchamel sauce, plenty of cheddar cheese and lovely (locally made, high welfare) sliced ham, topped with more sauce & cheese and baked through to create a delicious savoury treat - a bit like a croque monsieur but stuffed into a croissant.
